I think I'm a victim of fraud. How to protect yourself from scammers.

Your protection and safety is important to us! Below are some tips which you can follow to prevent yourself becoming a victim of fraud:

  1. Tala customer support channels are In-App Chat, Email, or via the website Help Center form. We don't have a phone line, SMS or Whatsapp support. You may receive SMS reminder messages from Tala but we only ever ask you to make payments via the Tala app. 
  2. Never share your personal data with anyone over the phone or WhatsApp. 
  3. If you are concerned about a SMS or email being fraudulent please forward to us at [email protected] for further help. 
  4. Tala does NOT authorize any individuals to process payments on their behalf of customers. Do not share your payment reference number or payment details through other people on the phone, WhatsApp or other channel. Payments should only be made through the Tala app.
