A target or goal helps create good habits. When you set a target repayment date, we do our best to remind you in advance so you have this on top of your mind. Reminders are usually sent via SMS or push notifications (so be sure to turn ON push notifications).

However selecting an early repayment date is not mandatory and it does NOT change your loan tenure.
